Pasta Bolognese Recipe
Posted by on
This is a great base for lots of recipes. I always make a large quantity so that I can freeze a batch. I used to add wine to this recipe just after the tomato puree but I don’t think it is missed. This is an ideal dish for babies from around 9-months-old. Prep time: 30 mins, cooking time: 2 hours Feeds: 8 adult servings, a bunch of baby servings so plenty to go in the freezer Ingredients 1kg lean Mince Beef 100g pack of un-smoked bacon lardons 2 small-medium sized onions 2 carrots 2 sticks of celery Half a box...

Macaroni Cheese Pasta Recipe
Posted by on
I always have these ingredients in the house (pasta, flour and milk) so this a great standby-by recipe. Plus it only takes 20 minutes to make. I first remember my Best-Friend’s Mum making this when I was about six - I always insisted on staying for dinner as the smell of it cooking under the grill was irresistible! Prep and cooking time: Max 25 minutes Feeds: one adult and one baby Ingredients 140g pasta 260ml milk 30g plain flour Desert spoon of Philidelphia tsp of wholegrain mustard* (optional) 1 Apple 30g grated cheese Several cornflakes (yes, you read that correctly)...

Cheese and spinach muffins
Posted by on
These are a great idea to bake if you have a bag of spinach left over and need to think of more creative ways to use it up! These muffins are fab as you can stick them in the freezer and just get them out one at a time. I like to warm them in the microwave for a few mins and the cheese will go gooey again! Prep time: 20 mins (getting into cases takes 5 mins) Cooking time: 20 mins Ingredients 300g self-raising flour ½ tsp of mustard powder ½ tsp paprika 75g butter 185g grated...
